My Portfolio
My historical research is all about digging into the stories that make our local and regional history unforgettable. I follow the paper trails and plot twists tucked inside deeds, maps, census records, letters, photographs, newspapers, and even the objects people left behind. The result is history that is accurate, inclusive, and grounded in real evidence, but told in a way that feels alive and meaningful.
I am especially interested in how everyday lives connect to larger social movements, whether through preservation projects, cemetery studies, utopian communities, or early American taverns.
My goal is to make careful, evidence-based research accessible to the public, helping communities better understand and value their historic resources.
